Job Description

Responsibilities include overseeing the financial operations of a company, managing the accounting team, and ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, budgets, and reports. Additionally, you are responsible for implementing and maintaining accounting systems and procedures, conducting financial analysis, and providing guidance on financial matters to support the organization\'s decision-making process.

o Manage and supervise all Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable operations
o Train, oversee and management of Accounting Clerk(s)
o Manage and process all vendor/ subcontract payments
o Coordinate, review and submit monthly progress billing invoices for up to 100+ construction projects
o Manage and process company payroll
o Review and report compliance filings for all government taxes

o Prepare and manage master budget for company expenses and identify any discrepancies for review with senior management
o Prepare and manage the production of quarterly reports and forecasts for the fiscal year and review with the executive team

o Post secondary degree or diploma in accounting or related field
o 5+ years in a managerial role in accounting
o Self-starter, demonstrates strong ownership, analytical and problem solving skills
o Strong time management and organizational skills
