ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK (CONTRACT)
The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for all aspects of vendor maintenance, such as vendor inquiries, receiving and verifying invoices and account reconciliation. This is a
6-Month Contract Position.
This position is also responsible for sending invoices for processing, creating and distributing monthly financial reports. Maintaining a list of payables and balancing with the general ledger monthly. Maintaining inventory files and filing systems. Creating new suppliers through vendor maintenance requests, ensuring all banking information has been provided correctly. Troubleshooting and correcting all non-conforming invoice issues through Data-Matics Program. Create E-Reg's for Plant 2 Monthly Tooling Consignment.
Requirements for this position:
Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree in Business Administration
2-3 years experience in Accounts Payable considered an asset
Proficient in MS Excel
Ability to learn Accounting software systems quickly
Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to effectively communicate with clients
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing office environment
Ability to work Independently with minimal supervision and in a team setting.
