Cape Breton Hyundai, a reputable and growing Hyundai dealership, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated
Office Accounting Assistant
to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our dealership's daily accounting operations.
Duties
Process accounts payable and receivable
Prepare and post journal entries
Assist with month-end and year-end closing
Maintain accurate and organized accounting files
Support the office manager and controller with administrative accounting tasks
Ensure compliance with dealership and manufacturer accounting policies
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting(required)
Previous experience in an accounting or office administrative role preferred (automotive dealership experience a plus)
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
