Job Description

Rahul Glass Ltd, a renowned Glass Company dealing in Shower Doors, Mirrors and Closet Organizers is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team. The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for processing Payroll, maintaining financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.

ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT

Minimum Experience: 03 Years

Job Duties

- Process payroll for hourly and salaried employees (including ROEs, T4s, deductions).

- Prepare and file government remittances (GST, PST, payroll remittance, WCB).
- Ensure the accuracy of financial records by reconciling accounts and preparing reports.
- Assist with managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Generate financial Statements and reports as needed.
- Maintain an organized filling system for financial records.
- Assist with month end year end closing procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and personal information.
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Assist with audits and liaise with external accountants as needed.

Skills

- Proficiency in clerical and bookkeeping procedures
- Experience with QuickBooks Desktop accounting software Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel.
- Strong understanding of financial principles
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes
- Must have an excellent command over English language.
