Gibbys Electronic Supermarket is hiring!

We have over 60 years of selling experience with the newest and coolest technologies for the home, office and car. We can design, build and sell the systems and components that keep the music flowing and provide that optimal TV viewing experience.

:

You will assist with reconciling accounts, maintaining general ledgers, vendor purchase orders, vendor sell-thru, HR functions, accounts receivable and various office functions

What you will be doing

:

? Auditing daily revenue uploads from Fishbowl into QuickBooks Online

? Assist with purchase orders in Fishbowl ensuring correctly mapped in QuickBooks

? Assist with inventory controls and maintenance

? Enter, maintain and submit vendor sell-thru at optimal times ensuring accurate payments received

? Maintain all aspects of accounts receivable

? Assist when required personnel files: new hire, terminations, set up on payroll system, ROE's

? Assist with health and safety standards for company

? Work closely with management to strengthen existing internal controls

? Oversee all office ordering and controls

? Assist with accounts payable functions

? Assist with maintaining and balancing general ledgers daily, monthly and at year end

Qualifications:

? Must be proficient in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online

? Must be highly proficient with excel

? At least 2 to 5 years of accounting experience required

? Experience with Fishbowl is an asset

? Excellent communication, interpersonal and organization skills

? Effectively manage time, individually prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy and follow-up

? Health and Safety training an asset

? Able to work independently with minimum supervision as well as a team player

? Ability to perform within a high-paced environment

? Willing to work overtime when required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
