Job Summary


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant to join our finance team. This role provides essential support in managing financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring accuracy across various accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have experience in Sage 300 Accounting software.

Duties



Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll processes Enter financial data into Sage 300 software Perform monthly bank reconciliation Reconcile accounts regularly to ensure accuracy of financial data Preparing and submitting government remittances (Payroll, HST) Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures

Skills



Proficiency in Sage 300 accounting software Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll processes Ability to perform account reconciliation and account analysis Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting practices Effective communication skills for collaborating within a team environment
