is growing -- and we're looking for a

Part-Time Accounting adn Administrative Clerk

to support our team. This role will ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and internal expense tracking. You'll collaborate closely with the owners, warehouse coordinator, sales team, and bookkeeper to maintain financial accuracy and operational flow. If you're detail-oriented, systems-savvy, good with numbers and take pride in getting things done right, this may be the role for you.

What You'll Be Doing:



Payroll Administration

Track staff hours weekly and prepare biweekly payroll entries using Wagepoint.
Provincial Bottle Deposits

Track collection of bottle deposit fees from customers. Remit payments to provincial deposit agencies in a timely manner.
Accounts Payable (A/P)

Maintain an accurate list of outstanding supplier invoices. Enter supplier invoices in QuickBooks and mark as paid after payment is confirmed.
Expense Management

Match courier invoices to tracking sheets. Process employee expense receipts and enter into QuickBooks.
Accounts Receivable (A/R)

Maintain an accurate A/R ledger in QuickBooks. Process customer payments and mark invoices as paid in QuickBooks. Investigate missing or mismatched payments using Sobeys' supplier portal. Process supplier chargebacks.
Bank & Filing Support

Assist with monthly bank and credit card reconciliations. Maintain organized digital records of invoices, receipts, and confirmations. Support preparation of financial records as needed.
General Administrative Support

Respond to supplier or customer inquiries related to billing or payments. Support the team with administrative tasks such as data entry or file organization.

What We're Looking For:



Previous experience with bookkeeping or accounting support roles. Familiarity with QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software. Comfort using payroll systems (experience with Wagepoint considered an asset). Strong working knowledge of spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets). High attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under time pressure. Strong communication skills, especially when dealing with vendors, customers, and team members. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Comfortable lifting and sorting paper files and organizing physical documentation, if required.
