Job Description


We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our financial processes. The role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively. This position is remote, with occasional travel to our office in Gibbons, AB required. DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Creating invoices
  • Posting receivables and following up on outstanding accounts.
  • Posting payables and reconciling vendor accounts
  • Full cycle payroll
  • Benefits administration
  • Credit card reconciliation
  • Weekly reporting as directed by management
  • Other admin duties as required
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • 2+ years prior experience in an accounting support role.
  • Experience with accounting software, SAGE would be an asset.
  • Construction industry exposure/experience a definite asset.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Teams, Outlook and Adobe Pro.
  • Ability to initiate and follow through on assignments with high attention to detail.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
