We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accountant to join our client's team in Winnipeg, Manitoba. In this permanent, in-office role, you will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the finance department with essential accounting tasks. Responsibilities:

• Process daily bookkeeping transactions and ensure accurate data entry.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including timely invoice processing.

• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts to maintain financial accuracy.

• Prepare, update, and organize financial documents and reports.

• Assist with month-end closing procedures and ensure deadlines are met.

• Monitor compliance with internal policies and standard accounting practices.

• Provide administrative support to the finance team and address ad hoc accounting tasks as required.

• Demonstrated experience in accounting or a related administrative position.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage, along with Microsoft Office tools like Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational ability.
• Capability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation processes.
