The Accountant will assist with full-cycle accounting and consolidation for Scanline VFX and Eyeline Studios for submission to Netflix. We are the subsidiary for a multinational, entertainment streaming service looking for exceptional and dedicated professionals to build our team. This position has career development and growth opportunities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Processes, organizes, and manages the accounts payable workflow
• Reconciles banks and credit cards
• Prepares journal entries
• Assists in month end closing process
• Assists the management team with ad-hoc, special projects

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a similar capacity
• Experience in accounts payable a plus
• Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, or a related field
• CPA accreditation
• Knowledge in Excel, including pivot tables
• Team player, positive attitude and self starter
• Willingness to learn and take on added responsibilities
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Solid interpersonal skills
• Organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and manage shifting priorities
• Respect for confidentiality and discretion

Job Type: Full-time Salary: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year Benefits:

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
