Job Description

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accountant in Toronto, Ontario. This role functions within the industry and requires the utilization of various skills such as Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, Cl Programming, Concur, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Auditing, and Balance Sheet Account.Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process credit applications from customers
• Maintain and manage precise records of customer credit
• Address and resolve customer inquiries promptly
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when needed
• Conduct and manage accounts payable (AP) operations
• Perform accounts receivable (AR) activities
• Ensure accurate auditing procedures are followed
• Manage and maintain balance sheet account
• Use Excel for various accounting processes, including the creation of closing documents
• Use Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, Cl Programming, and Concur to facilitate accounting functions
• Implement ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for efficient business processes
• Perform cash reconciliations and handle any related queries
• Regularly send statements to customers
• Employ VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables in Excel for data management and analysis. Knowledge of VBA or Macros would be beneficial.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of accounting
• Proficient in using Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is preferred
• Knowledge of Cl Programming is a plus
• Familiarity with Concur software is desirable
• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential
• Must be adept at various Accounting Functions
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proficiency in conducting Auditing
• Must have experience with Balance Sheet Account management
