Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and providing insights for strategic decision-making. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in financial software to support our organization's financial health.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping for film projects. Prepare financial reports, budgets, and expense tracking. Manage accounts payable and receivable. Ensure compliance with industry financial regulations and tax requirements. Assist in payroll processing for production staff and contractors. Work closely with the producer to provide financial insights and support.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, with a strong understanding of accounting principles.

Experience:

Minimum

3 years

(preferred) in accounting or bookkeeping (film industry experience preferred).

Skills:

Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and bookkeeping principles.

Software:

Proficiency in

Simply Accounting

and other accounting tools (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).

Industry Knowledge:

Understanding of film production finances, tax credits, and funding structures.

Attention to Detail:

Ability to manage multiple financial aspects of production with accuracy.

Pay: $30,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
