Position Overview

: The CPA Accountant will be instrumental in catalyzing our growth, assist in development procedures, analyze financials and ensuring the seamless execution of our payroll as well as helping fostering a culture of excellence across all dealership locations. This individual will play a central role in steering our franchise locations to achieve strategic objectives and financial benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:



Supporting key dealership performance through accurate accounting practices Processing payroll runs Reconciliation of bank accounts Develop accounting and/or payroll processes with the support of the Accounting team CRM Review and Deal Posting Overseeing onboarding and offboarding staff to the payroll system Ensuring accurate accounting for payroll costs Processing payments and managing bank transactions Processing Workers' Compensation Board filing and remittances Internal audits on financial and payroll items with compliance to provincial and/or federal laws Filing year-end returns with the CRA Providing key insights on potential grants, promotions or cost-saving opportunities at the dealership and organizational level Other duties and tasks as assigned or required.

Qualifications:



Proven accounting and/or payroll experience in the automotive industry, with a CPA designation Preferred minimum of 2 years of experience in the automotive sector. Strong business acumen with a track record organization and accurate filing. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. A deep understanding of automotive sales, finance, and service operations. Experience developing processes, policies or guidelines to maintain brand consistency Prior experience leading projects with multiple stakeholders in an inclusive environment The candidate must pass a criminal background check Communicating with managers and staff to resolve payroll or financial issues Other duties and tasks as required or assigned.
