- Compensation: up to 80K
- Please note, this will be a fully on-site role at the client\'s Halifax, NS office.

- Working closely with external auditors during the audit process.
- Maintaining the general ledger accounts/developing or reviewing financial statements and reports.
- Reports including: Financial and Operating statements for legal entities.
- Financial reporting including weekly reports, standard variance reporting, performance summaries, and quarterly review reporting.
- Ad Hoc Financial Analysis and Reporting.
- Performing all necessary accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards.
- Must have a Degree or Diploma in Accounting or Finance.
- Must have 3 to 5 years of Corporate Accounting experience.
- In Progress or Completed CPA Designation.
- Must have knowledge of GAAP.
- Proficient in MS Office including Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Formulas).
- Must be proficient in JD EDWARDS or any Accounting ERP system
