ACCOUNTANT

Accountant role is for an experienced professional looking to work with a growing organization that makes positive impact in the community. The Accountant role will require strong attention to detail, accuracy and efficiency to complete project. The Accountant role is a contract with potential for the right person to be considered for long term placement.

The Accountant\'s duties will include data entry, reconciliation of accounts and Excel spreadsheet creation and manipulation. Major responsibilities

- Executing alternate duties and partaking in special projects as assigned

- Analyzing and adjusting account discrepancies

- Log data

- Preparing monthly journal entries

- Assisting with full cycle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes

- Ensuring that accounts contained in the general ledger are correct

- Suggested education is an AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business

- High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills

- 1 year of accounting experience

- Well-founded grasp of Balance Sheet Reconciliation

- Accounts Payable (AP) experience

- Previous experience working with QuickBooks

- Proven knowledge of Bank Account Reconciliation

- Prior experience with QuickBooks

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Experience with high volume data entry
