Essential Functions: a. Financial Reporting
  • Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements.
  • Assist with month-end reconciliations.
  • Assist with identifying and explaining budget variances.
  • Understand the workings of the reporting system and assist with reporting integrity.
b. Management Reporting
  • Create monthly/ quarterly/ annual management reports.
  • Identify KPIs and build additional reports.
  • Submit monthly and quarterly reports to lender and other advisors.
  • Calculate incentive payments and commissions.
  • Perform complex financial analysis to assist capital investments, pricing decisions and contract negotiations.
c. Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Preparation of the corporate and subsidiary budgets.
  • Benchmarking company performance and highlighting issues.
  • Prepare monthly forecasts for all subsidiaries.
d. Payroll
  • Assist as backup with providing bi-weekly data to outsourced payroll company.
e. Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with policies, tax laws and management decisions.
  • Contribute to enhancing the system of internal controls.
  • Manage credit risk by monitoring collections, AR balances and support delinquent client resolution process.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
  • Publication of monthly financial statements, KPI & shareholder reports.
  • No material errors in month-end reports/ reconciliations.
  • Balance sheet accounts reconciled monthly.
  • On time submission of monthly and quarterly reports to various stakeholders. CMB
TEAM SUPPORT
  • Be familiar with and follow company policies and procedures as established (Employee Handbook, Finance policies and procedures, etc.).
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings and company functions.
  • Demonstrate good leadership qualities with a positive attitude and ability to motivate others.
Education, Knowledge and Experience:
  • CPA designation
  • Over 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with full cycle accounting
  • Financial modelling skills using advanced excel functions.
  • Strong analytical skills to review financials and identify business issues.
  • Critical thinking skills to solve business problems.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to safeguard confidential information.
  • Team player with the ability to build relationships across the organization.
