About Our Client

Our client, The largest custom emergency management and safety solution provider in Canada is looking for an ACCOUNTANT (CPA) to become a part of their corporate team. This position is located in Delta, and the successful candidate to work at least 32 hours per week. All employees work a compressed work week from Monday to Thursday and the plant is closed every Friday. This will mean that you will have every Friday off! The successful candidate will be a strong team player, possess effective communication skills, be detail-oriented, able to utilize analytical capabilities, and function well within a progressive accounting environment. • System and process improvement and implementation
• Financial analysis

• Processing payroll
• AR/AP
• Various administrative functions

Requirements

• CPA designation with five (5) years of relevant experience, ideally working in manufacturing
• Extremely proficient in Microsoft Excel and a DOS-based accounting system (Abacus)
• Strong work ethic, highly organized, detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal and time management skills
• Must be a team player that thrives in a customer-focused environment
