Job Summary: We are seeking a Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial management, with expertise in account reconciliation, tax returns and proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, and Tax prep. Responsibilities: -Preparation of corporate year end working papers, financial statements and tax returns, review of year end files, compliance assurance and government reporting (i.e. quarterly GST remittances and payroll) - Supervising the preparation of financial statements and tax returns of business clients, reviewing the work of staff accountants, and completing complex portions of the file - Preparing complete bookkeeping file (Data Entry, Account coding and Account Reconciliation) - Preparing T4\xe2\x80\x99s, T5\xe2\x80\x99s, personal income tax returns, and other tax returns and schedules, as required Experience: - Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA certification preferred - Proven work experience minimum 3 years as a Accountant or in a similar role - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices - Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Tax prep and Caseware - Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail - Ability to work independently and as part of a team Join our team as a Certified Public Accountant and contribute your expertise to our financial success.
