Great, here\'s who we\'re looking for\xe2\x80\xa6 VERB is looking for an Account Director, who will be the key point of contact between the client and the agency. The Account Director nurtures and grows the client relationship, while being a source of ongoing leadership, strategy, and collaboration. The Account Director presents effective, strategic solutions and recommendations across a collection of high-profile clients. Working with various project teams within the organization, they ensure projects are delivered within deadlines, adhering to the approved strategy, and of the highest level of quality. Internally, Account Directors are supported by a collaborative client service team as well as team leads across the agency in an environment that\'s welcoming, inclusive, and promotes ongoing growth and learning.
What You Will Do:

  • Oversee large-scale website builds from inception to launch, collaborating with team members across all VERB departments
  • Serve as main point of contact for clients at the executive level, acting as agency representative
  • Manage client expectations; combining client needs with organization skillsets to determine the most effective marketing solutions
  • Manage day-to-day of client business through strategic planning and daily execution of project tasks
  • Work closely with clients, understanding their needs and expectations, planning, forecasting, and reporting on projects
  • Manage project outcomes against business goals and objectives
  • Effectively manage budgets and resources, following predetermined budgets for projects and consistently assess departmental resources to ensure staffing requirements are met, making adjustments when necessary
  • Inspire, coach, motivate, and energize project team through a leadership role
  • Take a leadership role on the client service team, coaching other members
  • Undertake responsibility for the organic growth of a portfolio of accounts, providing exceptional service and continually striving to promote cutting-edge and innovative solutions
  • Deliver clear and concise direction to internal teams, ensuring all parties are on the same page for projects, with clear action items and timelines
  • Uncover and articulate research, insight, and strategic models to help advance the business interests of clients; presenting trends, growth opportunities, and fresh ideas proactively
  • Be bold and confident in all communication while displaying excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Keep senior management informed of project progress, flagging any potential issues early and proactively offering sound, strategic solutions
  • Keep lines of communication open, to ensure all team members across the agency feel free to talk to you about any situation or challenge
  • Own the final quality control for all client-facing deliverables
  • Identify process improvements within the organization and work with senior management to develop and implement improvements across projects
Requirements
  • Minimum of 6 years\' experience in marketing/ advertising industry or Account Management role
  • Post-secondary education with a focus on advertising, marketing, communications, or business
  • Highly organized with the ability to function in a fast-paced business environment
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, web development technologies and design lifecycle
  • Working understanding of SEO, SEM, social, and traditional media
  • Experienced in managing multiple simultaneous projects, involving cross-functional teams, with budget, schedule and resource constraints
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills
  • Highly meticulous and detail-oriented
  • Demonstrated ability to create and present creative ideas and solutions to both clients and internal management
  • Previous experience managing projects of $200k in value
