The Account Director, Triangle Retail Media (TRM), will be responsible for new business development, prospecting and achieving assigned revenue targets. TRM is Canadian Tire Corporation\xe2\x80\x99s (CTC) rapidly scaling Retail Media Network Business across banners. Investing behind this business and scaling it over the next five years is a top strategic priority for CTC. As a member of the TRM team, you will work alongside groups of industry experts in a highly agile, entrepreneurial, and exciting environment. You will make an impact by:
Owning a portfolio of new client leads and proactively prospecting, following-up with, and closing new relationships to build a robust pipeline of clients across brands and agencies, all new first-time participants. Active prospecting will be required.
Designing pitches tailored to client needs, objectives, and pain points (including pricing structure, audience segments, creative suggestions) and effectively communicating TRM\xe2\x80\x99s value proposition to inspire clients to pursue new ad product offerings (e.g., on site display, video, social, email)
Achieving assigned revenue targets across assigned portfolio with targets set on a quarterly basis
Effectively transitioning new clients to Account Managers as needed
Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Data, Insights, Product, and Merchants, to identify opportunities for revenue growth through the delivery of new processes and services
Adapting to ongoing ad product and technology developments and identifying opportunities for growth as it relates to the needs of the retail media network industry
What you bring
Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Economics, Business, Finance, or related discipline
6+ years of experience in a sales/ solution-selling role in media/ advertising
A working technical knowledge of digital marketing, media and/or publishing with an excitement to learn how to produce meaningful insights, counsel, and plan for our partners\xe2\x80\x99 business objectives
Experience in proactively managing a book of business, sales pipeline, and/or collaborating with client stakeholders
Experience with brand and/or digital marketing performance campaigns
Experience reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals
Possess superior interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with experience in facilitation and influencing at executive leadership levels through building relationships
Demonstrated strategic and analytical sales approach, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and manage multiple priorities
Resourcefulness in maneuvering through a large company while working in a nimble and fast paced environment \xe2\x80\x93 ability to adapt and thrive in any business situation
