Who we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for

As the Account Director on the business, you will be the key client contact on the brands assigned, providing these clients with strategic integrated marketing solutions. This role also requires you to work with an external integrated communications team ensuring all client work is flawlessly executed.

Responsibilities

Client & Partner Relationships

  • Manage internal team, agency resources and workflow process
  • Primary contact with senior clients, providing clients with innovative short and long term strategic marketing guidance
  • Manage the partner agencies within the client\xe2\x80\x99s landscape
  • Develop a positive and partnering relationship with all clients and stakeholders
Strategy and Creative Excellence
  • Fully understand all aspects of the client\'s business and the competitive business environment
  • Take the lead role on building the clients business, generating new strategies for agency-client partnerships
  • Develop effective strategies to motivate creative excellence while maintaining strategic course
  • Assist in building and championing integration of the business by facilitating cross-divisional discussion and planning
  • Provide council to team and client on integrated marketing projects
  • Ensure that strategies are being met on multiple on-going campaigns
  • Overall fiscal responsibility for budgets and billings
  • Aspire to and inspire award winning creative
  • Ensure that account team delivers all client work with highest level of quality, on time and on budget
  • Take lead role on special projects
  • Assist in new business initiatives
Team Building and Management
  • Responsible for taking the lead role for new hires into the group, building an effective team
  • Take an active role in developing all direct reports, providing mentorship and conducting on-going performance evaluations
  • Provide input into staffing plans, budgets and promotions
  • Take an active role in building a positive agency culture
Requirements
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a client service role in an agency with a focus on interactive marketing
  • Ideal applicant would have been involved in multiple integrated marketing campaigns
  • Solid understanding of agency and creative process
  • Ability to inspire award winning creative
  • Track record of building strong long term client relationships
  • Continually drive for results and highest quality standards
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated fiscal management skills
  • Ability to keep composure in high stress situations
  • Experienced people manager, demonstrating strong mentoring abilities
  • Superior organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated strategic thinker with ability to lead a business
  • Solid understanding of business and current marketplace
  • CRM & Web creative project development experience a strong asset
  • Ability to design and deliver presentation with a creative flare
  • Ability to reduce complex information into single minded compelling insights
  • Proficient in MS office
  • Post Secondary education in business marketing or advertising preferred
