Job Overview
The Accommodations Sales Manager will oversee KSC's short-term accommodations program in downtown Toronto, driving revenue growth through strategic sales and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
This hybrid role combines sales leadership with hands-on operational coordination, overseeing both online and group bookings while supporting on-site delivery. The successful candidate will manage OTA partnerships (including Expedia and Booking.com), respond to RFPs, secure new business, and ensure that every guest stay reflects KSC's commitment to hospitality and operational excellence.
This position is fully on-site in downtown Toronto.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement annual sales strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue for KSC's short-term accommodation program.
Manage and optimize OTA listings (Expedia, Booking.com, and others), including pricing, content, and availability.
Respond to RFPs and secure new group bookings with universities, corporate clients, and conference organizers.
Build relationships with travel partners, event planners, and local organizations to generate leads and repeat business.
Prepare sales proposals, contracts, and reports; monitor KPIs and revenue performance.
Act as the on-site lead for group and individual guests.
Coordinate with property operations and facilities teams to ensure readiness, smooth turnovers, and exceptional guest service.
Oversee logistics for group arrivals and departures, ensuring efficiency and professionalism.
Support the front-line team during peak periods and handle guest inquiries and service recovery as needed.
Manage all bookings and reporting through RMS management system.
Collaborate with marketing to drive seasonal promotions and ensure brand consistency across channels.
Ensure timely collection of payment, prepare invoices, occupancy summaries, and post-season analyses.
Skills and Qualifications
5 years of experience in hospitality, accommodations sales, or hotel operations.
Proven track record managing Expedia, Booking.com, and other OTA platforms.
Experience using RMS or other property/booking management systems.
Strong business development, communication, and client relationship skills.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Must be available to work on-site in downtown Toronto (this is not a remote role).
Flexibility to work evenings or weekends during high-volume arrival periods.
