Airswift has been tasked by one of our major clients to seek for a 3rd Class Power Engineer to join them on a 5-months contract in Prince Edward Island, PEI.
Responsibilities
- Experience in a high-pressure plant (steam) and associated equipment required
- Good knowledge of the operation of boilers, chillers and other electrical machinery
- Strong safety track record and mindset is a must.
- Knowledge of applicable safety codes.
- Strong team player
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Be self -motivated, open-minded and results oriented
- Must be able to troubleshoot and handle issues
- 3rd Class Power Engineer license in PEI
- Utilize computer programs without assistance (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Legally authorized to work in Canada on a full-time basis without restrictions
- Valid and updated safety tickets (First Aid, CPR, TDG, WHMIS and H2S certifications)
