Please note:

This posting is for a 8-months Winter 2026 Student placement with a start date of January 2026 and end date of August 2026. In order to be eligible for this 8-month Student position, you must either:

Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of August 2026 ; or If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in December 2025 or August 2026), you must require the full 8-months work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.

What is the opportunity?



We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Management/ Risk Intern to join the Customer Data Management team as part of the Early Data Talent Program. As part of the team, you will receive excellent opportunities to gain hands-on experience with real-world business problems, be challenged to resolve complex tasks, and provided with valuable on-the-job trainings. You will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about using data to drive business decisions and inform strategic initiatives. Through this 8-month internship, you will have the chance to develop your skills in data science, cloud data engineering and application backend development. Additionally, you will have access to mentorship, training, and networking opportunities to support your career growth and development. What will you do?



Assist in the development and implementation of data governance processes and procedures Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand data needs Help design and refine templates for capturing metadata and data lineage Assist in uploading data to our data governance platform Learn and participate in data quality and integrity initiatives Applying analytical and critical thinking skills to drive business outcomes

What do you need to succeed?



Must have



Knowledge of data concepts and principles Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a team environment and learn quickly Computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Powerpoint) Strong written and verbal communication skills Highly motivated self-starter and team player

Nice-to-have:



Relevant experience in data management and risk governance Experience in financial services industry with broad understanding of marketing, product management, sales, finance, pricing and risk management
