What will you do?
Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends and insights related to Collections and Recovery operations
Develop and apply statistical models to forecast call volumes
Design and implement data visualizations to communicate complex data insights to stakeholders
Collaborate with operational teams to understand business requirements and develop solutions
Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and other analytics tools to support business decision-making
Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and operational teams
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Currently enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary institution with a focus on data science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, machine learning
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience working with data and statistical models
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Nice-to-have
Experience with machine learning algorithms and predictive modeling
Familiarity with call centre operations and workforce management principles
Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git

This posting is for a 4-months Winter 2026 Student placement with a start date of January 2026, and end date of April 2026. In order to be eligible for this 4-months Student position, you must either:
Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of April 2026 ; or
If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in April 2026), you must require the full 4-months work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.
