What You'll Be Doing


At Fresh Prep, every day may be different! While we are currently in "growth mode", things are becoming more and more streamlined. This means that your first day may not look like your third or your tenth, but each day you will be doing some of the following:Lead and support a team to achieve daily production goals. Communicate with other departments about shortages, delays, and related updates. Enter data for work orders and related tasks. Conduct inventory checks and create transfer orders as needed. Train and coach team members to improve performance. Suggest new systems or processes to help the team achieve key performance indicators (KPIs). Complete and maintain accurate quality assurance records (QA checks, reports, etc.). Keep the production area organized and efficient. Set up the production line, including preparing machines and equipment. Ensure First In, First Out (FIFO) procedures are followed. Assign tasks according to the work orders. Report any potential delays or issues to the Zero Waste Supervisor. Return leftover ingredients to the cooler in an organized manner.

What We Are Looking For

At least one year of experience in food preparation, restaurant, warehouse, or fast-paced retail environment is preferred. Previous leadership experience is preferred. Ability to work efficiently in a high-paced warehouse setting while meeting strict deadlines. Comfortable working in a temperature controlled environment (the warehouse is kept at between 0 to 10 degrees Celsius). Demonstrated ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks effectively. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to stand on your feet for 8 hour shifts. Ability to lift, push, pull objects up to 50 lbs (23 kg).Highly skilled at managing multiple tasks at the same time. Consistent and punctual attendance.
