Pacific Industrial & Marine Ltd., a division of The Hazelwood Group, is seeking for a full-time Yard Labourer to join the team of hard-working, dedicated staff at its Duncan-based facility.

Compensation

• $24-$28 per hour, depending on position, experience, and qualifications

Summary

Reporting to the Stores Department, the Yard Labourer is responsible for maintaining an organized, safe, and efficient yard environment. This role requires a hands-on individual who takes initiative and works well both independently and as part of a team. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Job Duties

• Perform general yard clean-up and maintenance.
• Organize tools, hardware, and equipment to maintain an orderly work environment.
• Safely operate a forklift to move materials as required.
• Assist with pickups and deliveries as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
• Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations, and compliance standards.
• Promptly report any unsafe conditions, accidents, or injuries.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license (required).
• Forklift experience is an asset (training can be provided).
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Monday to Friday schedule: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
