If you want to contribute to KAG's excellent tradition of innovation and leadership in the logistics and transportation industry, we invite you to apply!Reporting to the Terminal Manager or their designate, the primary function of the Yard Labourer is ensuring the timely movement of equipment to outside vendors, care and cleanliness in the yard, maintaining the fuel island and drivers lounge, as well as snow removal during the winter months for the Langley facility.This is an entry-level position, the successful candidate must hold a class one license. No experience is necessary, this an excellent opportunity for a brand-new class one driver to gain experience.What you bring:

• Positive attitude
• Able to work outside
• Class 1 drivers license required
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission trucks
• Ability to maneuver b-train trailers
• Able to pre-load tanker trailers
• Mechanical aptitude

About the position:

• Shunting equipment to outside vendors
• Ensuring cleanliness of the yard, including greenery trimming on the yard perimeter
• Emptying trash cans in the yard and drivers lounge
• Cleaning and stocking the fuel island
• Maintaining cleanliness of the drivers lounge
• Assisting the lead hand and safety team when required
• Removing snow and leaves during the fall and winter months
• Ensuring a safety-conscious approach to all job tasks
• General handyman maintenance of office facilities
• Administering other duties as assigned
