Perform hotshots as required
Transporting cargo with the Alberta region. Responsible to be familiar with and able to drive in conditions that may include congested traffic and jobsites, inclement weather and/or declines other potential hazards.
Receive dispatch assignments from Fleet/Yard Team Lead and continue to check in on a regular basis
Responsible to use load securing devices
Be familiar with the provisions of all legislation and regulations affecting the operation of commercial vehicles and equipment
Keep the Genics yards clean, organized, and functional
Dispose of yard waste (chemical waste, general waste, manufacturing waste, recycling etc.)
Mowing, weed whacking lawns
Organizing and grading yards
Performing minor building maintenance
Maintain fleet vehicles
Keep fleet vehicles clean and full of fluids, ready to use
Assisting with servicing vehicles and equipment
Washing and filling trucks
Manage the storage of field services tools and equipment
Arrange sea can storage and keep logs of incoming and outgoing tools/equipment
Clean and maintain shop
Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)
Strong technical knowledge of vehicle maintenance
Ability to operate large forklifts and skid steers
Ability to drive trucks and tow trailers
Ability to work under little supervision with minimal guidance
Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations
Ability to work alone unsupervised
Self-motivated
Education and qualifications
Valid class 5 driver's license and clean Drivers Abstract and clean driving record
Extensive driving experience
