We are looking for a
dedicated Yard Hand
to help us grow the flow and function of our field operations. This role is responsible for supporting daily operations within the yard to ensure equipment, materials, and vehicles are organized, maintained, and ready for field use.
The Yard Hand plays a key part in the
efficiency and safety of our water transfer operations
by keeping the yard, tools, and equipment in top condition.
Key Responsibilities
Organize and maintain inventory:
Keep bins, fittings, hoses, pumps, and other water transfer parts labeled, clean, and properly stored.
Equipment maintenance:
Inspect, clean, and perform basic maintenance on pumps, hoses, manifolds, and other water transfer equipment. Report any required repairs.
Loading and unloading:
Safely load and unload trucks with equipment and materials for field jobs using forklifts or other machinery as needed.
Shop and yard upkeep:
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by sweeping, power washing, and properly disposing of waste materials.
Assist with logistics:
Prepare equipment and parts for upcoming jobs and check in returning equipment for cleaning and inspection.
Support field crews as needed:
Occasionally assist with mobilization, demobilization, or light field duties as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications
Basic mechanical aptitude and experience working with tools and equipment.
Ability to safely operate forklifts, skid steers, and other yard equipment (training provided if needed).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
Dependable, safety-oriented, and able to work in outdoor conditions.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 60 per week

Physically Fit / Able to Work Outdoors - Capable of lifting hoses, pumps, and heavy fittings safely.
Basic Mechanical Aptitude - Proven ability to work with hand tools, grease fittings, couplers, hose repairs, etc.
Experience with Skid Steers and Forklifts - Prior use in loading/unloading, staging equipment, or moving materials.

Class 5 Licence (required)
