Yard Coordinator
who thrives on structure, keeps teams aligned, and knows how to turn big-picture plans into daily momentum.

In this role, you'll manage yard organization, tool and equipment tracking, fuel and fluids, inventory levels, and support our logistics team with trucking and seasonal transitions. You'll also be key in maintaining safety and compliance protocols across the board.
What You'll Do:
Keep the yard clean, organized, and optimized for daily operations
Track, inspect, and manage all tools, small equipment, and machines
Fuel, wash, grease, and top up fluids on equipment to ensure readiness
Maintain accurate inventory of tools, materials, and consumables
Assist with deliveries, material handling, and safe equipment tie-downs
Support field and trucking crews with load-outs and logistics
Coordinate seasonal changeovers between summer and winter ops
Maintain safety signage, barriers, and emergency equipment
Complete FLHAs and pre-use inspections; support incident reporting
Lead yard-based staff on slow days and coordinate task assignments
Assist supervisors with fleet records, tool warranty returns, and maintenance scheduling
Communicate clearly across teams to support smooth project execution
What You'll Bring:
1+ year of machine experience
Valid driver's license & reliable transportation
Strong organizational and time management skills
Basic computer skills + comfort with mobile apps and spreadsheets
Self-motivated, adaptable, and ready to jump in wherever needed
Clear communicator -- written, verbal, and across teams
Familiarity with safety protocols or willingness to learn
Bonus: experience in landscaping or construction environments
What you'll need:
A proactive mindset and ability to stay ahead of fast-moving project needs
Professionalism, initiative, and a collaborative spirit
Comfort working in a rural setting and on active job sites
Ability to manage competing priorities
Excellent time management and task prioritization skills
Strong collaboration skills, to connect with and succeed with multiple teams
