What is the opportunity?

The Workspace Analyst position is a role to support the transformation of Technology & Operations (T&O's) real estate footprint into a flexible, energized and more efficient work environment. This position is responsible for supporting T&O teams by maintaining a safe workplace, managing staff common areas and ensuring availability of assets and services to support hybrid environment. This role will play a significant role in the management of seat allocation with the introduction of new workplace standards and tools. WSA role serves as first point of contact for management activities and effective use of workspace, equipment and technology issues.

What will you do?

Support staff in transition to hybrid environment by facilitating seat allocation across neighborhoods and acting as super administrators of new CRE tools such as Project Scheduler.

Responsible for the efficient management of T&O space by monitoring and optimizing of the Physical Space. This position provides support to T&O Teams in GTA in matters related physical space, maintenance of common areas (e.g. meeting rooms). Act as the liaison with Facilities Management in matters related to Accessing the space as well facilitating changes related to ergonomic needs

First point of contact for day to day for the premises operations and Technology troubleshooting as required. Liaises with other appropriate functional departments (i.e. DSS, RBC IT, RBC Telecom, C.I.M. and National Office) to minimize client fulfilment disruption and client service commitments standards

Manage the on boarding/off boarding of new staff in relation to space and asset allocation. (Freeing time from Project and Resource Managers and eliminating admin tasks from higher level resources).

Provide reports and analysis related to space utilization. And will be part of the support system to move to hybrid environment.

Manages all building access pass cards for the Business and creates a record of cards issued for Audit purposes. Quarterly Audits will be conducted on the process.

Orders, maintains and manages a standard supply of office inventory for the Business.

Facilitates and coordinates work orders for repairs to premises, equipment and technology for assigned floor (i.e., printer issues, and common area equipment).

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

Proficient in MIS Office skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Ability to be proactive, handle simultaneous projects, work independently

Excellent organizational skills and using own initiative to ensure that outstanding matters are followed

Ability to meet deadlines
