What you can expect in a typical day:
The Pricing Analyst will ensure customer account pricing set-ups and schemes are correctly administered; while also being responsible for Pricing database maintenance that comprises of approximately 2000+ accounts. With attention to detail at the forefront of everything the Pricing Analyst completes; set-up and maintenance are critical areas they will support, that ensures accurate billing to our customers.

Your roles and responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of relevant pricing processes and procedures

  • Strong focus on Continuous Improvement that contributes to organizational effectiveness

  • Support nightly Price Notification process and daily morning uploads; develop and maintain price send tools

  • Support market fluctuations including midday price changes

  • Maintain and modify the pricing databases that support the multiple business lines

  • Implement accurate cost and pricing notifications and billings within and across the organization

  • Support internal business lines and their customers (e.g. Supplier contracts/intanks; Whitegate)

  • Create and maintain supply agreements, customer contracts, and spot sales in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne

  • Price and maintain accurate balances for NavDesk contract sales in JDE

  • Develop, support and maintain critical NavDesk and Sales system tools

  • Monitor and verify exception reporting for pricing discounts and freight billings

  • Complete daily review of customer sales orders to verify, analyze, identify errors, and implement solutions to fix

  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Support and applicable stakeholders (both internal and external) to resolve issues in a timely fashion

  • Log, track and trend issues to support issue resolution

  • Perform other duties as required that support the IOC Pricing strategy and customer experience

  • Participate in project assignments related to key growth development initiatives

  • Analyze customer pricing strategies/offerings and make recommendations to support sales teams in delivery of customer offer

Travel

  • Travel is not a requirement for this position

Education and experience

  • University/college degree in business, commerce, or another professional program is preferred

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) required

  • Experience with Access, Salesforce, and JDE preferred

  • 2-3 years’ experience in a business environment

  • Basic knowledge of accounting preferred

  • Knowledge of the Oil Industry considered an asset
