What is the opportunity?

This role requires a team player to assess, research, analyze and document requirements (business, data and technical), in order to recommend and implement system solutions that meet sponsor/stakeholder needs. This role will initially be focused on projects and initiatives related to applications utilized by the Special Loans/ Advisory Services (SLAS) and Group Risk Management teams.

What will you do?

  • Elicit and analyze Business requirements and create documentation such as current (as is) and future state (to be) business process, user stories, data catalogues, business rules, use cases and user interface design
  • Performing detailed analysis and providing inputs to solution design - identifying, tracking, escalating and/or resolving data and systems issues.
  • Works collaboratively with business partners and stakeholders in SLAS and Group Risk Management and multiple IT teams (i.e. source and downstream systems).
  • Analyze and review different options for data integration with the Wholesale Credit Risk application for Parameter Estimation and provide recommendations on the solution; such as assessing and defining materiality of data quality issues and impact to project objectives.
  • Contributes to successful project completion within budget and on time, by identifying risks and developing/recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Adhere to enterprise Agile and DevOps methodology in requirements planning, analysis and documentation.
Must-have:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Business Systems Analyst on application development projects with a UI component.
  • Proficiency in using SQL for querying large amounts of banking data for data comparison, identifying lineage and problem analysis.
  • Experience in data mapping between systems for integration.
  • Good understanding of banking book and/or credit risk management concepts and practices.
  • Very good communication skills, verbal and written, for both technical and business audiences.
  • Proven experience working in Agile project management methodology.
Nice-to-have:
  • Certified, or actively working towards, Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Project Management Institute \xe2\x80\x93 Professional in Business Analysis (PMI \xe2\x80\x93 PBA) Certification or Masters Certificate in Business Analysis will be an asset.
  • Experience working with Jira and Confluence.
  • Familiarity with Behavior Driven Development (BDD).
