Your Opportunity:This Working Leader - Surgical Processing is a temporary position until February 7, 2025, or until the incumbent returns.Description:As a Working Leader, you will orientate, support, and continuously coach Surgical Processors. This may include setting priorities according to shift and daily requirements within the department while ensuring policies/procedures and standards are adhered to. You will act as a formal resource to department staff and may act as a delegate for management on operational issues. As a Working Leader, you may assist the management team by providing input for yearly performance evaluations of surgical processing staff.

Required Qualifications:Completion of an accredited Medical Device Reprocessing (MDR) program. Completion of an Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) certification or Canadian Standards Association (CSA) certification. Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum three years of experience with decontamination, reassembly and sterilization of hospital supplies, equipment and instrumentation, including endoscopes reprocessing. Proven ability to lead and support team members to accomplish unpredictable work demands in a timely manner.
