One of our insurance clients is looking for a Workday Change Management Lead - Prosci Change Practitioner Certification
Length: PERMANENT
Location: Remote Role but may be required to be onsite at times- Atlantic Region, Ontario, or Quebec

Candidates with an Insurance background would be ideal.

DESCRIPTION
As part of the Human Resources team, the Change Management Lead will be responsible for developing the change management strategy and executing on the change plan to facilitate the full realization of our clients Employee Value Proposition (EVP) program and the Workday Human Capital Management system implementation. This position has oversight and leadership of all change management project team activities and will focus on the people side of change for an improved employee experience. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize stakeholder adoption and usage while minimizing resistance. The Change Management Lead will work with the project team and organizational leaders to ensure adoption, utilization and proficiency of the changes that impact employees in the organization to increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of results and outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • In collaboration with business owners and stakeholders, prepare, manage, and execute change management strategy and plans for the projects/initiatives to maximize employee adoption and usage potentially impacting up to 9,000 employees
  • Proactively identify and address issues and risks; develops appropriate interventions
  • Partner with Corporate Communications, Human Resources (Business Partners, Talent Management, Total Rewards, HRIS), Sponsors, Stakeholders and Project teams to develop and execute coordinated change and communications plans.
  • Apply a structured change management process and tools to build a strategy to support adoption of changes required.
  • Conduct stakeholder analysis, assessing people risks and document mitigating actions.
  • Drive the process to execute all change management results throughout the project/initiative lifecycle.
  • Facilitate working sessions with business stakeholders related to changing business processes, impact assessments to support the completion of deliverables for assigned projects
  • Prepare communication plans and guide front line leaders on how to communicate change messages to teams and ensure messages are integrated with Internal Communications
  • Document a well-structured training curriculum including audience analysis, transition materials, and detailed business process/system training modules using various training methods and tools
  • Create training materials utilizing common training development tools for business process and system training and deliver training via multiple vehicles, such as in-person, web-ex and video
  • Monitor and review performance of initiative and activate sustainment of change plan
  • Act as coach to project team members to help them fulfill the role of change agents
REQUIREMENTS
  • 5 plus years change management experience on medium to large scale organizational change efforts and projects, managing change strategy through to implementation including culture change and HR system changes (Workday preferred) - training strategy, planning, design, creation, and delivery
  • Bachelor\'s degree in human resources, Communications or Business Administration
  • Prosci Change Practitioner Certification
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles and methodologies, and familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven negotiation skills and the ability to manage conflict by actively listening to others
  • A team player who is able to work with and through others by influencing and moving toward a common vision or goal at all levels of the organization
  • Strong analytic and decision-making skills with the ability to problem solve and identify the root cause of issues
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality results
  • Strong time management skills in an environment with multiple competing priorities
  • Proactive, resourceful and a quick learner who thrives on fast-paced challenge and change
  • Strong presentation skills, editing, proofreading, layout, and design skills are essential
  • Bilingualism (EN/FR) considered an asset
