The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is seeking one (1) individual with excellent customer service skills to manage the Facility and Fleet Management Branch Office and Police Headquarters Private Vehicle Parking program. Responsibilities for this position include:
Front Counter for Facility and Fleet Management Branch providing customer service to all levels of EPS staff
Perform Goods Receipt in SAP for maintenance and service invoices.
Act as the central booking and tracking for boardrooms.
Act as the Facilities Management FOIPP representative to carry out annual retention/disposal audit of files within Facilities Management Branch filing system as required by the FOIPP act and following EPS records management procedures.
Manage and maintain the Director of Facilities Management's email inbox when absent.
Managing and administering the Police Headquarters Private Vehicle Parking system. Responsible for maintaining all information and files relating to parking including documents, spreadsheets, applications, emails, and website postings.
Responsible for delegation, assignment, and deletion of private vehicle parking stall ownership and liaising with Payroll for biweekly deductions.
Complete regular audits of parking pass holders, parking stalls, and investigate and follow up as necessary to ensure that the complex Terms & Conditions are followed using investigative skills and independent decision making.
Responsible to manage all parking violations, including investigation and independent decision making to verify violations, determine offenders, and follow up as necessary on a case-by-case basis, at times liaising with Senior Management in various EPS departments and contact City of Edmonton bylaw enforcement as necessary.
Triage incoming Moves and Furniture requests
Authorizing work orders to the move and furniture contractor
Escalating complex requests to Manager for review and assignment
Act as a central departmental contact for maintenance/repairs for 35 EPS facilities totaling over 1,000,000 sq. ft.
Co-ordinate, schedule and authorize repairs/maintenance, set expectations of timelines, and advise status on requests and concerns.
Other related duties as required.
Qualifications
:Completion of the twelfth (12th) school grade including business subjects related to word and information processing and training in microcomputer applications or completion of an approved certificate program.
A minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible supervisory and diversified word and/or information processing experience. Two years of which is experience working in maintenance requests in real property environment.
Proficiency with Smartsheets, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SAP (receiving PO's).
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, exercise sound judgment, and provide excellent customer service in a challenging environment.
Proven ability to maintain moderately complex records and to prepare reports from the same.
Good organizational skills, able to complete work effectively and efficiently under the pressure of a fast-paced work environment with changing priorities.
Previous experience in a property management or police environment would be considered an asset.

As part of your pre-hire screening, you will be required to complete an Enhanced Security Clearance. Hours of Work
: 33.75 hours per week, Monday - Friday. Hours of work may be subject to the terms and conditions of a variable hours of work program.
Salary Range:
21M, Salary Grade: 012, $28.644 - $35.917 (Hourly), $1,933.50 - $2,424.40 (Bi-Weekly), $50,463.57 - $63,276.77 (Annually). The rates quoted are in accordance with a collective agreement between the Union and the City of Edmonton.
