Duties
Measure, cut, assemble, and finish wood components using hand tools and power tools to meet project specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and installation.
Install fixtures such as cabinets, doors, siding, moldings, and trim with precision and attention to detail.
Perform framing work including metal stud framing, wood framing, and concrete forming for various structures.
Execute restoration tasks such as water damage remediation, stucco application, plastering, rebar installation, and siding repairs.
Requirements
Proven experience in carpentry or woodworking within construction or restoration industries.
Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment used in framing, trim carpentry, roofing, and fixture installation.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
Knowledge of safety protocols for heavy lifting and working on active construction sites.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail; ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
Physical stamina for long periods of standing, bending, lifting heavy materials safely and efficiently.
