Wood Cnc Router Programmer / Operator

Job Description
Seven Continents is looking for a full-time permanent CNC Router Programmer and Operator to join our Manufacturing team. In this role, you will program CNC routers and rotary milling machines to reshape material to specifications.
Regular hours are 7:30am - 4:00pm, Monday - Friday. Occasional overtime required.
Located near 401/Keele, we are accessible by car with ample parking or by TTC (nearest station is Wilson subway station).
Responsibilities
Read shop drawings or other documents to program CNC machines Use AutoCAD / BobCAD to create CNC drawings Edit or update GCODE as required Material takeoff for assigned projects Inspect raw materials and report issues with quality to supervisors Move material to and from the CNC machines Set up and operate CNC machines to reshape material Communicate status of projects with the Production Manager Maintain a clean and safe working area to accomplish tasks Report material consumption per project
Experience
2 years experience as a CNC Router operator 1 year operating a CNC Rotary Mill (an asset) 2 year experience in AutoCAD/Solidworks
Skills/Requirements
must be able to lift up to 50lbs and move 4x8 sheets of material without assistance read and program GCODE AutoCAD, BOBCAD, VCarve, and other software used to program and operate CNC machines strong punctuality and attendance record a must
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
