Position Summary:



The CNC Supervisor/Programmer, under the direction of the President, will primarily be responsible to ensure compliance with company policies and standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on-time delivery. The Programmer is the hands-on supervisor for ensuring production of customer orders, quality of product and service in the delivery of orders and personnel supervision. This position will ensure high standards of workmanship and efficiency. This role will also detect equipment malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjust machine, controls, or control media within capabilities as required to ensure quality of production. NIGHT shift Monday - Thursday ( 8:00 pm - 6:30 am) with overtime available.

IMPORTANT

Applicants

MUST HAVE 5+ years of HAAS LATHE experience (CNC set up and programming). Note that only those applicants with these credentials and experience need apply for this NIGHT shift (8:00 pm - 6:30 am)

Job Duties:



Maintain high standards of workmanship and efficiency in the preparation of CNC programs (lathe and milling) that will ensure outputs meet

production schedules,

quality, and safety standards, as well as

customer needs.

Ensure that NC programs are arranged, managed, and controlled as per STELLAR procedure.

Review programs for Continuous Process Improvement with suggestions from the President, Machinists & Operators.

Plan and prepare necessary resources (e.g., tooling, set-up sheets), based on production schedule and maintain production levels as required by customer orders and production schedule.

Oversee and execute timely and accurate machine preparations and set-ups to ensure uninterrupted production flow.

Be involved in the setting up of critical and/or new jobs especially for first time runs.

Ensure compliance with

company policies,

standards and

objectives for cost control, waste reduction, quality, health & safety, and on-time delivery.

Support the ISO QMS (Quality Management System). Fully understand the importance of controlling Non-Conforming Products and be actively involved in the process of generating NCRs as per STELLAR's quality procedures.

Ensure proper use, care, and maintenance of required PPE as per company safety policy.

Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity, product quality, and safety.
