We\'re looking for a WMS Systems Analyst to join our growing company and play a key role in our customer experience by ensuring each purchase ends in a smile!

Oracle WMS Systems Analyst is responsible for managing and supporting Oracle WMS applications and systems within Sleep Country Canada. They play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of Oracle Retail systems and collaborating with various stakeholders to meet business requirements.



In this role you will:

  • Lead the implementation and configuration of WMS for retail and e-commerce operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into WMS functional specifications
  • Configure WMS modules, including inventory management, order fulfillment, warehouse processes, and integration with other systems
  • Conduct system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to ensure the quality and accuracy of WMS solutions.
  • Provide end-user training and support, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to WMS
  • Act as the primary point of contact for WMS-related issues, troubleshooting system errors, and resolving technical problem
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for system improvements and optimizations
  • Collaborate with technical teams and vendors to apply patches and upgrades to WMS, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Conduct periodic system audits and data integrity checks to ensure the accuracy and consistency of warehouse data
  • Create and maintain system documentation, including system configurations, business processes, and user guides specific to WMS
  • Analyze existing warehouse processes in the retail and e-commerce sectors and identify areas for improvement and optimization within WMS
  • Propose and implement enhancements to streamline warehouse operations, improve inventory accuracy, optimize order fulfillment, and meet the specific needs of retail and e-commerce operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate WMS with other systems, such as ERP, transportation management, or supply chain planning systems
  • Conduct regular system performance analysis and generate reports to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement
  • Conduct training sessions for end-users on WMS functionalities, processes, and best practices, with a focus on retail and e-commerce requirements
  • Provide ongoing support and assistance to users, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring smooth WMS operations in the retail and e-commerce context
  • Develop training materials, user guides, and FAQs tailored to retail and e-commerce processes and requirements
Qualifications

The Qualifications and Experience we like to see:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with/on WMS/LogFire, preferably in a retail and e-commerce environment.
  • Hands on experience setting up and creating templates for distribution centers in LOGFIRE
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in implementing and supporting WMS, including modules such as inventory management, order fulfillment, and warehouse processes.
  • Understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics processes specific to the retail and e-commerce sectors.
  • Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL and SQL for data analysis, querying, and troubleshooting within WMS.
  • Experience with system integration, including knowledge of APIs, web services, and data exchange between WMS and other systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly grasp complex business requirements within the retail and e-commerce context.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with business users, technical teams, and vendors.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced retail and e-commerce environment.
  • Strong documentation skills for creating and maintaining system documentation, configuration guides, and user manuals specific to WMS and retail/e-commerce operations.
