Responsibilities:



- Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of workers who install, repair and maintain civil infrastructure, telecommunication systems and power systems.

- Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other departments or subcontractors

- Requisition materials and supplies

- Resolve work problems and recommend work measures to improve productivity

- Train or arrange training of workers

- Ensure our health & safety rules and policies are being followed

- Prepare work reports such as daily site safety reports, trouble ticket reports, closeouts and daily site progress reports.

- Perform site maintenance activities and troubleshoot configuration problems.

- Work with NOC at implementing Fault management, Configuration Management and Performance Management tools.

Qualifications

:

Minimum 1 year rigging experience in the telecommunication industry; climbing at heights of 100 meters (330 feet)

Proven understanding of and experience with telecommunications equipment, cables and hardware.

Coax and Fiber testing, installation of RRUs and Antennas, Coax termination, DC powerlines, troubleshooting experience - Asset.

Working knowledge in fall protection practice and procedures and tower rescue techniques.

General construction experience - Asset

Experience in rope access work, climbing tickets - Asset

Willingness/availability to work overtime and/or weekends and travel out of town

Use of mobile devices applications.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

50% (preferred)
