Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with various machining processes. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery to produce high-quality products while adhering to safety standards and company policies.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate machinery including the Shredder BDR, Granulator BAT, Hamos KWS 101-0, Air Density Tables & Vibrating Extractor. Perform quality inspections on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications. Conduct routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Utilize hand tools for assembly and adjustments as necessary. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production efficiency. Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations. Document production data and report any discrepancies or defects in the manufacturing process.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Machine Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Maintenance Experience is an asset, as well as proficiency in using power & hand tools. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various types of machinery effectively. Familiarity with quality inspection techniques and basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Ability to read technical drawings and specifications accurately. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
