We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Counter Help. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional customer service while assisting with food preparation and order processing. Your ability to multitask and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment will be essential for success.
Duties
Greet customers warmly and take their orders efficiently.
Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for order entry and payment processing.
Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, adhering to food safety guidelines.
Assist in upselling menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service delivery.
Experience
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations is a plus.
Basic math skills for handling transactions and providing change accurately.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
