We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Counter Help to join our team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling transactions efficiently, and ensuring a clean and welcoming atmosphere for our patrons. This role is essential in delivering a positive dining experience while adhering to food safety standards.
Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing transactions.
Handle cash and credit card payments with precision.
Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, dining space, and food preparation areas.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
Assist in restocking supplies as needed and manage inventory levels.
Provide prompt service during peak hours while managing time effectively.
Qualifications
Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change.
Previous cashiering experience is preferred but not required.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Familiarity with food industry practices, including food preparation and safety protocols.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
