Job Description

Sandbanks Vacations has specialized in Wine Tours, Shuttle Services, and Vacation Rentals throughout Prince Edward County for 13 years and we are continuing to grow and expand our services to create a better experience for our guests. We are currently looking for an outgoing, creative, sales driven, customer focused individual to be our Tour and Experiences Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the tourism industry within Prince Edward County, and is passionate about the local wine, craft beer/cider market and the Arts World that surrounds us. Responsibilities

• prompt follow up on inquiries by phone/email
• planning & coordinating tours with our vendors (wineries/breweries etc.)
• schedule tour guides for their shifts
• develop & create new tours/experiences with our marketing manager
• coordinate with the car detailer to ensure all vehicles are cleaned for the next tour
• assist in the hiring of new tour guides
• data entry
• tour guide: in an emergency you may have to "be a guide" for a day and run a tour
• join the on-call rotation with other office staff: we always have one person on-call in the office (averages out to every 4 weeks approx.) in case of emergencies on tours or stays. Compensated with Lieu Time

Qualifications / Skills

• must be proficient with Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams
• time Management: this position can be a little intense in the "high season", the individual must be able to work efficiently and be organized
• experience in an administrative role
• customer service experience
• attention to detail
• knowledge of Prince Edward County and the tourism industry in the area
• G Driver\'s License (need to pass a drivers abstract for insurance purposes)
• knowledge of Checkfront Booking Software would be an asset

Job Type: Full-time Salary: $20.00-$22.00 per hour Flexible Language Requirement:

• French not required
