Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers, including Windows Server 2016/2019/2022. Manage Active Directory (AD), Group Policies (GPO), DNS, DHCP, and other core Windows infrastructure services. Monitor server performance, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure high availability and reliability. Apply security patches, updates, and maintain system hardening following best practices. Manage user accounts, access permissions, and security roles across Windows environments. Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions (e.g., Veeam, Commvault). Administer virtualization environments such as VMware or Hyper-V. Handle file servers, print servers, and application server management. Collaborate with network, security, and application teams to ensure smooth operations. Document system configurations, changes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Respond to system outages, performance degradation, and escalate issues as needed. Participate in on-call rotations for critical system support.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3-7+ years of hands-on experience as a

Windows System Administrator

. Strong expertise in Windows Server administration and Microsoft ecosystem management. Deep knowledge of

Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP

, and identity management. Experience with virtualization tools like

VMware vSphere, Hyper-V

, or similar. Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation and administration tasks. Understanding of backup tools, storage systems, and disaster recovery planning. Knowledge of security best practices for Windows environments. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
