The Opportunity
Out at Cougar Mountain, The Adventure Group (TAG) delivers thrilling outdoor adventures surrounded by Whistler's stunning natural beauty. From soaring on Superfly Ziplines to exploring backcountry trails on snowshoes or off-road vehicles, our guides bring these experiences to life while ensuring the highest standards of safety and guest satisfaction.
We're currently hiring for Wilderness Guides in the following areas:
$19.00 - $23.50 per hour wage based on experience and qualifications

What You Bring to the Table
Experience in customer service; adventure tourism experience is an asset
Standard First Aid (16 hours) certification required
Valid driver's license
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions (able to lift up to 30 lbs)
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Positive, supportive, and respectful attitude with guests and colleagues
Flexible and adaptable - every day and every tour is different
Availability for early mornings, evenings, and weekends
Your Days Will Look Like
Check in with dispatch, ensuring all equipment and uniforms are ready for the day
Prepare thoroughly for tours, inspecting gear such as helmets, avalanche, and fire safety equipment
Welcome guests warmly and set a positive tone for an unforgettable adventure
Provide safety briefings and ensure guests have the proper clothing and equipment
Follow all safety, radio, and operating protocols, escalating concerns as needed
Operate hill shuttles safely, explaining processes, managing terrain risks, and ensuring helmet and seatbelt compliance
Maintain site cleanliness and assist with team operations and guest support
Stay connected to staff communications and contribute to TAG's fun, professional, and safety-first culture
