What You'll Do
Lead, mentor, and support your management team, ensuring the successful delivery of customs brokerage services within your region
Manage overall regional goals, including profit and loss outcomes, and ensure operational efficiency by monitoring daily, weekly, and monthly reports
Foster business development by networking and promoting customs brokerage, consulting, warehousing, and freight forwarding services
Analyze performance indicators and implement procedures to enhance efficiencies
Oversee recruitment, orientation, and performance reviews for your team, setting goals and fostering a high level of morale
Ensure compliance with company policies and resolve disputes or complaints when necessary
Collaborate with senior leadership to align regional strategies with company objectives and contribute to corporate projects
What You'll Bring
10+ years of senior supervisory/management experience in the customs brokerage industry
Professional designations such as CCS, CTCS, or other relevant industry qualifications
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to mentor staff and influence through cultural change
Deep knowledge of customs brokerage procedures and processes
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with e-commerce/electronic integration
Ability to analyze and interpret key performance indicators, with a focus on driving profitability
