THE OPPORTUNITY - Wellness Service Practitioner - Team Lead (6 Months Contract)



WHAT YOU WILL DO



Work with the Wellness Services Manager to implement plans, support wellness initiatives, identify gaps, and assist in accreditation processes. Facilitate opportunities for employees and consumers to learn more about the organization's Wellness Services. Supervise employees by providing orientation, coaching, performance evaluation, corrective actions, and goal-setting to enhance skills and competencies. Implement established organizational systems and structures to monitor expenditures and funds administered and compliance with established systems and structures. Ensure adherence to organizational policies and procedures, maintain accurate documentation of service delivery, and stay informed on developments and best practices in the disability and non-profit sectors Exhibit strategic and creative thinking to achieve organizational outcomes, manage effectively under stress, prioritize competing demands, and integrate best practices into work. Supervise employees and ensure quality service delivery while collaborating with the Wellness Services Team to identify gaps and promote wellness programs.

We are looking to engage team members with diverse skills, experiences and interests. These are some of the competencies and credentials we are looking for:

Degree or Diploma in Community Disability Services or a related field and a minimum of five years of experience working with individuals with disabilities. Able to think strategically and creatively about ways to achieve organizational outcomes. Exemplifying strong management skills under pressure while effectively prioritizing competing demands. Demonstrate experience in digital literacy, managing time and prioritizing work Demonstrate a high standard of professionalism aligned with Vecova values Maintain a positive working relationship with all Vecova team members Represent Vecova in a professional manner Demonstrate a high level of initiative and enthusiasm Maintain confidentiality at all times Demonstrate a high level of administrative and IT capacity
